Massage


Massage Therapy has been used for thousands of years and is no longer an indulgence but is a valuable tool for treatment of injury, increased health and overall wellness. Massage has proven beneficial in treating chronic conditions and injuries.

Some benefits of massage include:

Types of Massage:
     Swedish Massage
A Western style of massage that consists of long flowing strokes combined with active and passive movements of the joints that help the patient relax and distress.  Helps with promoting better circulation and flushing the system of toxins.

     Deep Tissue/Sports Massage
A technique that targets specific muscles/muscle groups to release deeply held muscle patterns in order to improve flexibility and performance.
A technique that releases chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on contracted areas, either following or going across the grains of muscles, tendons and fascia.

     Prenatal Massage
For the expectant mother massage is a safe and effective treatment for the aches and pains during pregnancy.  Specific techniques can reduce pregnancy discomforts and concerns and enhance the physiological and emotional well being of both mother and baby.

     Chair Massage
Don't have time for a table massage?  Stop by for a targeted chair massage for 10,15 or 20 minutes.
